Volunteer for CSEA

One of our greatest values is being a member-driven organization. We utilize the expertise of people working on the field every day to make important decisions about our programs, activities and services to ensure we are meeting the needs of our over 800 members across the globe. CSEA works closely with close to 100 volunteers who serve on our committees and task forces to help ensure that happens.

Join us to be a part of the teams that help drive our initiatives and direct our thought leadership!

Our volunteers enjoy the experience, not only because they are able to give back to the organization, but also because it lets them take their networking and engagement to the next level. Here's what some of our volunteers have to say about their experience.

“Volunteering with the MBACSEA has allowed me to connect with my peers and school partners who have the same passion as I do about hiring top MBA talent for our companies.  It is energizing to hear from them, work with them on important topics and share those best practices we know are out there and can leverage.” Margo Garcia, Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner/University Recruiting, Intuit
“My volunteering experience has given me a great network to reach out to of trusted advisors and thinking partners when I encounter challenges at work. It has also helped my own professional development by giving me opportunities to further develop problem solving and teamworking skills and share my thought leadership.” Patricia Keener, London Business School, Head of Early and Mid Careers

"Coming into MBA Career Services almost 15 years ago, I felt like an outsider.  That quickly changed when I signed up to volunteer with MBA CSEA.  I have served as a member of various committees, led and co-led and also had the privilege to serve on the Board.  The community and connectivity you gain from being part of a committee is invaluable, and even led me to my current position here in Houston." Kelly Collins, Director, Graduate and Alumni Career Services, Bauer College of Business, University of Houston
"I enjoyed volunteering for CSEA because it allowed me to meet other members that I was able to connect with at Conference after working together with them. I really appreciated this, since I was a firm time CSEA Conference attendee, and I did not know a ton of people. I also am active in many of the working groups where I met people who recognized me at CSEA Conference which helps already have sense of rapport and break the ice. Without these engagements, I might have felt less comfortable or less connected at the conference." Phenix Culbertson, Associate Director of Employer Relations, Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University
“My participation in the APAC Conference Committee was an enriching experience on multiple fronts. Collaborating with fellow committee members allowed me to establish additional connections as well as reinforce existing professional relationships. The conference itself provided an avenue to delve into the latest trends and challenges in our field, broadening my perspective and knowledge base.” Rhoda Yap, Global Director, Career Development Centre, INSEAD
“Volunteering for CSEA has allowed me to develop new skills, work alongside interesting people, and give back to an organization that consistently provides me with opportunities to learn and become a better Career Services professional.
Julian Huenerfauth, Assistant Director for International Student Career Services, Rochester Institute of Technology
