Musto Business Development Representative (BDR)

We are growing quickly here at Musto and it's our priority to hire A+ players to join us on our mission of rapid expansion of career resources for universities, candidates and employers! We are looking for highly-motivated Business Development Representatives to work hand-in-hand with leadership to grow our customer base in the University market. Through outbound emails and calls, your sole responsibility will be to prospect, generate leads, book discovery calls and demonstrations on behalf of the Campus and Employer Partnership Teams. 

We are looking for self-starters who are tenacious, motivated, organized and professional, excited to build their career in business development! You'll be interacting with individuals ranging from University Career Coaches, Employer Relations, to Employer Recruiters and Talent Acquisition team members, so the role requires a blend of charm and sophistication, with excellent written and phone communication skills.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Outbound calls to educate university career services offices and employers on the high quality offerings of the Musto products and services
  • Qualify prospects and book demos for the Account Executives
  • Build quality relationships with our prospects
  • Create email campaigns to evangelize our products and generate leads
  • Identify potential challenges and opportunities with our prospects and communicate with leadership
  • Track and update calls/emails made, performed, as well as meetings booked and performed

Requirements

Requirements: 

  • 1+ years of experience working at a university or in a university business development environment 
  • Natural people person and relationship builder
  • Tenacity and fantastic follow through
