MBA CSEA is monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19 very closely, keeping the health and safety of our members as our top priority. This web page provides regular updates and a compilation of communications sent to the membership, decisions made, and resources to assist our members during this unprecedented and difficult time. Members can come together to share how they are responding to the situation and the impact on their institutions through our WhatsApp group and our online community. May 1, 2020: Virtual Conference Scheduled
In a world of uncertainty and physical isolation, the need to connect with friends and colleagues is more important than ever before. We are pleased to launch our first Virtual Conference, June 29 - July 1. More details will be released as soon as they are available!
April 8, 2020: Global Conference Postponement
Based on member feedback and growing concerns with the spread of COVID-19, we made the difficult decision to postpone our 2020 Global Conference. New dates will be announced soon. We encourage members to continue to connect through our virtual events and resources.

April 6, 2020: Member Quick Survey Results
Highlights from our member survey, in the field March 27 - April 2, 2020 include:
- 79% of schools say that employers are moving some or all internships virtual
- 79% of schools say that employers are reducing the number of internship hires
- Members are observing a lot of "wait and see" approaches from companies.
- Industries that have decreased hiring include advertising/marketing, airlines and hospitality.
- Industries that have increased hiring include insurance, technology/online-based services, food & beverage, and supply chain/operations

March 19, 2020: Global Conference, Boot Camp Updates + Additional Resources
The Global Conference and pre-conference Boot Camps are moving forward as planned, at this time. The early bird registration deadline has been extended through May 29, and the cancellation fee is waived for conference cancellations. A reminder of member resources was also provided.

Join us on March 25 at 11 am ET for a webinar on how to maximize productivity and minimize distractions while working remote.
March 10, 2020: Tips for Working Virtually
A number of our members are working virtually, or will be doing so in the near future. Our Executive Director provides some tips for maximizing producitivity in this situation. Our Professional Development Committee is also planning a webinar on this topic.

March 9, 2020: European Conference Postponement and Additional Resources
MBA CSEA has decided to postpone the 2020 MBA CSEA European Conference until further notice. The decision was made in an effort to minimize health risk and exposure to the coronavirus during the event, as well as to host the event at a time when more of our members can participate.
Additional resources were created in order to assist members with connections - a WhatsApp group, and a thread in our online community. If you are a member and didnt receive information about these resources, please contact us.

February 27, 2020: Flash Survey, Virtual Round Table Discussions, Conference Updates
In light of growing concern and impact on our member organizations, we provided several opportunities for members to come together to share information and support one another, including a flash survey, two virtual round table disussions for members to share resources, and flexibility to assist members with decisions regarding our European Conference.

February 11, 2020: Asia-Pacific Conference Cancellation/Postponement
MBA CSEA has decided to cancel our 2020 Asia-Pacific Conference, originally planned for March 3 -5 in Singapore. We made this difficult decision due to the widespread global health concerns regarding the coronavirus, as well as travel restrictions that will prohibit our members from attending. New dates for the conference will be announced soon.
