Global Conference: Marketing Local Employer Engagement
One of CSEA's most important strategic goals, as indicated by our membership, is to increase engagement of employers within the organization. The Marketing Committee helps accomplish this goal by working with schools in the local area surrounding the conference to ensure their employer partners are aware of the event.
- The Executive Director will reach out to local schools in the area close to the conference to identify a contact at each school to assist with marketing.
- The committee will ensure this group receives all employer marketing materials, copying the ED and Board Liaison on communications.
- Specific marketing materials will be developed based on the unique needs of local employers. For example, they might prefer phone vs. email communication, etc. Local schools may also be able to promote the event during employer advisory boards, career fairs, etc. The committee can work with individual schools and the ED to ensure they have what they need to spread the word.
