Welcome New Board Members

MBA CSEA is pleased to welcome our new board members!
Welcome to our newly elected board members:
 
  Julie Blant
Head of Business School Postgraduate Careers, Nottingham University Business School

Julie is Head of Postgraduate Careers at Nottingham University Business School in the UK and leads a team in providing careers support to MBA, MSc, PhD students and alumni.  She has specialised in business school careers service provision for almost 20 years. Alongside being a member of the management teams in both the Business School and the University's Careers and Employability Service, Julie leads Nottingham's MBA Career Development Programme.  Last year Julie and team were recipients of a prestigious Lord Dearing Award for Teaching and Learning.

Julie is heavily involved with MBA CSEA in the EMEA region, and is a frequent converence presenter and past chair of the European Advisory Group. She is currently serving as Board Liaison to the EMEA Conference Committee.

  Rebecca Cook
Executive Director, Kelley Career Services, Kelley School of Business, Indiana University
  Kate Guerrero
Director, Business Career Services, College of Business & Economics, California State University, Fullerton


As Director of Business Career Services, Kate leads a team responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive set of career management services for the business students enrolled at The College of Business & Economics at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF).  Kate's prior roles include Associate Director of MBA Programs, Career Management at CSUF and Director of Career Services for The Art Institutes. Kate holds an MBA from Argosy University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Central College.

Kate's prior MBA CSEA involvement includes Global Conference Co-Chair, Co-Chair Sponsors & Exhibitors Committee, Chair Part-Time MBA Standards Committee, and Registration Committee. She is currently serving as the Board Liaison and Co-Chair for the Standards Committee.

  Natalya Shustova
IE Business School


With over 12 years of experience in international education, Natalya currently leads the Career Education area for Senior Master's students at IE University. Prior to joining IE, she held marketing and business development roles in Turkish and Swiss companies, managing accounts across various countries in NALA, EMEA, and the Former CIS markets. Natalya is a strong advocate for introspection, coherent career paths, and a bias towards action. She pioneers innovative solutions and technological advancements in the field of career education, including the development of virtual reality modules. Natalya holds a Master's degree in Talent Development and Human Resources from IE University, as well as coaching certifications from ICF. She is also an alumna of the Life Design studio at Stanford University.

Natalya has previously served MBA CSEA as a conference and webinar presenter and member of the EMEA Conference Committee and Virtual Programming Committees. She currently serves as the Board Liaison to the Virtual Programming Committee. 
 














































And our newly appointed board member:
 
  Danielle Canas
Senior Associate Director, Recruiting Operations, MIT Sloan School of Management


Danielle joined MIT Sloan in 2009, as part of the Employer Relations & Recruiting Team in the Career Development Office.  In her current role, she oversees Operations for the Employer Relations & Recruiting team, including communications to students and employers, event strategy and management, and special projects.   Prior to Sloan, Danielle was at the Kogod School of Business at American University; she started her career at Fidelity Investments.  Since 2011, Danielle has been an active member of MBA CSEA, serving on the Board of Directors multiple times, co-chairing the 2017 Global Conference and leading several other committees within the organization. She graduated from Saint Anselm College with a BA in Sociology. She lives in Wakefield, MA with her husband and two sons.

Danielle's previous MBA CSEA experience includes Conference Co-Chair, Global Conference Board Liaison, Secretary and Local Arrangements Chair. She currently serves as Secretary.















These individuals bring forth a wealth of skills, knowledge, and diverse perspectives that will help us further our strategic initiatives in the next year and beyond. We thank them in advance for their service to the organization and to the industry!
