Gala Reception
Sponsored by VMock
Come and enjoy the Symphony of Lights show during the MBA CSEA Gala Reception at Hong Kong's famous Victoria Harbour, originally called Hong Kong Harbour. After China was defeated by Great Britain after the first and second opium wars, Hong Kong became a colony of Britain, and Victoria Harbour was named after the British Queen Victoria.
Marco Polo Hotel’s outdoor lounging venue offers you a spectacular view of the world-renowned Hong Kong skyline. At 8:00pm sharp, your evening will be illuminated by the Symphony of Lights, a show that has been recognized by the Guiness Book of Records as the world’s largest permanent light show.
Enjoy Italian canapés and a wide selection of beverages at the Cucina Terrace and network with MBA CSEA members to build and develop relationships.
We look forward to welcoming you. Simply hop on the bus that will take you from the Shangri-la Hotel to mingle and enjoy beautiful Hong Kong by night. We hope this will end the conference in style! (Bring a jacket, as we will be outdoors.)
Hong Kong

The city, its people, and the culture are arguably the best example of ‘East meets West’ with a breathtaking view of the Victoria Harbour and bustling street hawkers in the markets. If you want to get away from the city, the rural side of Hong Kong also offers numerous hiking trails which many locals and foreigners enjoy. A trip to the Peak will offer you a breathtaking view of the City, you can also explore the surrounding islands such as Lantau and its Big Buddha or simply visit Stanley Market, South of Hong Kong Island.
